Rajan Gajaria

Rajan Gajaria holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronic engineering from the University of Bombay, and a master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow. He is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt and is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Mr. Gajaria retired in 2022 as the Executive Vice President at Corteva Agrisciences. He was accountable for the Crop protections, Digital and Seeds business platforms. He was an officer of the company since its inception. Mr. Rajan’s career has spanned three decades, continents and functions as he has helped build the business and advocate for modern agriculture. Rajan began his career with Dow AgroSciences in Mumbai with its Indian joint venture partner. He served in sales and marketing roles, as well as in human resources, before moving to the company’s global headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana. Rajan advanced through leadership roles in corporate strategy, marketing and e-business before serving as Global Supply Chain Director. He was named Marketing Director for the company’s U.S. business before being tapped to lead its Latin America and Asia Pacific geographies. In 2017, Dow Chemical and DuPont merged to form what would become the stand-alone agriculture company Corteva Agrisciences. At this juncture, Rajan was serving as Vice President, Latin America and North America, for Dow AgroSciences, a subsidiary of Dow Chemical.
